(Hood) 11 : 65
فَعَقَرُوهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُوا فِي دَارِكُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ وَعْدٌ غَيْرُ مَكْذُوبٍ
But they slaughtered it; so, he said: “Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days, that is a promise not to be belied”.
Verses 91: 11-15 say: "Thamud denied their Messengers with great insolence when the most wretched among them was sent forth. The Messenger of the Lord said to them, ‘This is the camel of the Lord; it has its drinking water.’ However, they rejected him and slaughtered the camel. Consequently, their Lord brought down destruction upon them for their sins and made their land level and barren, showing no fear of the consequences."
